JSM thanks Anacostia-Pentalpha Lodge

John S. Mulholland Family Foundation thanks Anacostia-Pentalpha Lodge No. 21 F.A.A.M. for their generous donation as Platinum Sponsor for A Capital Evening XI, to be held Friday, November 22 at The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, just 6 months away.
The Masons have supported JSM since close to the beginning and their own John Feller serves as the Secretary on JSM’s Board of Directors. We are privileged to have their continued support. #jsmgala

John S. Mulholland Family Foundation thanks Fr. Tom Kalita of Saint Peter’s Parish

John S. Mulholland Family Foundation thanks Fr. Tom Kalita of Saint Peter’s Parish – Olney, Maryland for his leadership and generosity— he’s the priest who keeps grocery carts at the doors of his church year round, centered his ministry around caring for the hungry poor, and dedicated his anniversary celebration to a food drive which resulted in more than 35,000 cans over two weekends— WOW! Leadership at its best, faith in action, practicing what he preaches! Thank you TMK.

Bill Mullan hot dog day

Each summer, the late Bill Mullan hosted hot dog day on the beach at the family vacation spot in Delaware. All of his children, their spouses, the grandchildren and their friends joined in this rather crowded tradition.
When we started JSM, Bill, a fellow daily Mass friend at Blessed Sacrament DC, said he wanted to do the same for our client families, so he’d write a check each summer. We were much smaller back then, but we still recall his kindness and generosity.
So, after we received a generous gift of Giant Food gift cards from the equally kind and generous parishioners at Saint Peter’s Parish – Olney, Maryland, we decided to bring back Bill Mullan Hot Dog Day at all of our pantries in June. We know Mr. Mullan will be looking down approvingly. God bless his memory.
