Leah Durant is a Gala Emerald Sponsor

With JSM Director Leah Durant, Michael Milmoe, and Leah’s parents, Nancy and Lawrence Durant. Leah’s largesse made our Crop Box at the Academy of the Holy Cross possible and her parents supervise that effort. John S. Mulholland Family Foundation thanks Law Offices of Leah V. Durant, PLLC for their generous donation as Emerald Sponsors for A Capital Evening XI on November 22, 2024 at The Ritz-Carlton, Washington D.C. What great friends and supporters of our mission serving God’s poor in Washington. #jsmgala

St. Thomas Apostle participated in Summer in the City

Thank you to my friend, Fr. Richard Mullins, and the generous parishioners of St. Thomas Apostle Church in Woodley Park for another generous Summer in the City food drive. They have been with us since Day One and it’s always a pleasure visiting. Thank you to our donors and friends, Leslie and Steven Palder for helping load the van. A good day.

JSM St. Anthony’s thrives in Brookland

Just under 9,000 cans of food were dropped off at JSM St. Anthony’s in Brookland Sunday evening. Thank you Diane Hart, Gary Reyes and the wonderful team of volunteers who helped stock this very busy food pantry. Nagpapasalamat sa iyong tulong sa paggawa ng gawain ng Diyos – Thank you for your help in doing God’s work. #summerinthecity

Summer in the City continues strong

Our last of four Summer in the City pickups today was at St. Mary’s in Rockville. Pictured here are Bill Mulholland (far left). Fr. Nathaniel Anderson (in black), Patrick Mulholland (kneeling), and Chris Kelly (in yellow), along with a great group of volunteers who loaded the large collection quickly and efficiently. St. Mary has always been one of the leaders and we thank their generous parishioners. (Photo credit: Randa) #summerinthecity
